Rutas de Pedanías

Orihuela es tierra agrícola por excelencia desde tiempo inmemorial. Su fertilidad ha sido explotada por diversas culturas a lo largo de la historia. Centro de la llanura fluvial del Bajo Segura, es aquí donde se producen, por primera vez, las más grandes cantidades de cultivos de toda la Vega Baja. La riqueza de su huerta es también producto de un saber que se remonta tiempo atrás.
A lo largo del extenso territorio que forma el término municipal se fueron sucediendo asentamiento que hoy son las veintisiete pedanías que conforman la zona rural, con su inmenso y rico patrimonio natural, histórico y gastronómico.
