Orihuela launches its programme of 'Routes and Visits – March 2026', a cultural proposal that will visit some of the most emblematic spaces and enclaves of the municipality throughout the month. The activities have limited places and require prior registration through the www.orihuelaturistica.es website (RESERVATIONS section).
The program starts on Thursday, March 5 at 6:00 p.m. with the Visit to the House of Miguel Hernández with Concepción Silvestre, which will have as its starting point the House Museum of Miguel Hernández.
On Friday, March 6, at 5:00 p.m., the visit Miguel Hernández: Life and Work will be held, also departing from the Miguel Hernández House Museum, bringing the figure and legacy of the Oriolan poet closer to the public.
On Saturday, March 7, at 11:00 a.m., the Cultural Legacy route will take place, departing from the Arch of Santo Domingo, an opportunity to discover the historical heritage of the city.
On Friday, March 13, at 5:00 p.m., the activity The expansion of Orihuela and its historical context + Tasting (6 euros) will take place, departing from the Glorieta Gabriel Miró Fountain.
On Saturday, March 14, at 11:00 a.m., the Blue Path and Military Detachment of Cabo Roig route will be carried out, departing from Calle Levante, Urbanización de Cabo Roig.
On Thursday, March 19, at 11:00 a.m., the proposal will be Murals of San Isidro, with a meeting point at the Mural of Guernica.
On Saturday, March 21, at 11:00 a.m., the visit of the Patron Saints of Orihuela will be held, departing from the Plaza del Carmen.
On Friday, March 27, at 5:00 p.m., the Relics of the Passion route will depart from the Plaza del Convento de San Francisco.
On Saturday, March 28, at 4:30 p.m., the Miguel Hernández activity will take place. Anniversary of his death, departing from the Plaza del Carmen.
Finally, on Monday, March 30 and Tuesday, March 31, at 11:00 a.m., the Cultural Legacy route will be repeated, departing from the Arch of Santo Domingo.
This program is organized by the Orihuela City Council, through the Department of Tourism, under the brand Orihuela, history of the Mediterranean.
With this agenda, Orihuela reinforces its commitment to the dissemination of its historical, cultural and natural heritage, offering both residents and visitors a varied range of experiences throughout the month of March.
