Due to the growing population of the beaches of Orihuela, as well as the emergence of new urbanizations, despite being considered a district, it is a special case. An example of this is that in the Government team there is a councillor-delegate for this Constituency exclusively, who has his office in the offices of the City Council Headquarters in the Playa Flamenca Urbanization located in Plaza del Oriol, S/N.
